I always thought the Anson engine museum had a huge car park, but you couldn't get in it today. Maybe because it was Geoff's 50th and birthday cake was available, but whatever the reason (and in spite of the early morning rain), the world and his dog turned out. Apart from the museum engines there were stationary engines and model engines from members and friends, and a fairground organ and fast food (plus free birthday cake). Quite a bash - I look forward to the re-opening next year, as there is plenty afoot !
