Lister engine and pump

Hello group,

I was hoping you could help me with some information.

I have obtained a Lister DER1 pump. I was hoping to paint it up in original colour. Unfortunately the paint on it is several coats thick and has come off in places. The base colour is red lead with various shades of grey and at least one of white. Can you tell me what colour it should be please?

Also I have a Lister diesel LR1 engine, it is seized and will need a lot of work. Do you know where I can get a manual for it please?

Thank you in advance.

MJ.

Just a correction to the the details I had.

The pump is a Lister DEP.3 not as shown below and as no one on this group has any info on colour I have decided to paint it the last colour which was white. A mate of mine has a similar pump but thats in green, I guess that is the standard colour?

I have been given details of where to get a manual by Peter Forbes.

I'm surprised none of the more Lister oriented types have come back to you. Not really my thing, but afaik the standard colour for most Lister kit was mid brunswick green with other colours being available to special order.

Thanks for replying.

I was beginning to think that the green must be the normal colour. Most of the pumps I have seen at rallies have been green.

Interesting that it could be a special order to be in white.

MJ.
