Having established that the L'Aster needs no heavy external flywheel, I'd like to fit this pulley to the adaptor plate so thoughtfully supplied with the engine. The boss needs machining flat to get the pulley a little closer to the main bearing and the adaptor plate insetting into the pulley to locate and centralise it. I can then drill pulley and plate & bolt through, there being enough clearance inside the pulley's bore to get a socket on the mainshaft nut.
Trouble is, I cannot swing the pulley in my little old lathe & need someone to do this for me. Naturally, I am quite happy to cough up the requisite number of drinking vouchers, but it is a bit of a lump to post, so it would need to be in the Bristol area
