Hi Gary, the exhibits list seem to place stationary engines as a very small part!
How does this compare with Onslow park at the end of August?
(We should be at Onslow)

I hav'nt exhibited there before, but i visited in 2003, and
there was a good selection of about 40-50 engines. I have to admit our
club is tractor mad, and the stationary engines tend to take a back
seat, but there are quite a few engine men in the club.
I personally dont think our rally comes close to onslow, in terms of
public entertainment, as onslow has an exellent working area, with lots
going on for the public to see, but we tend to be a little restricted,
because of the location in the town.
The rally used to be held at atcham on the outskirts of shrewsbury,
which in my opinion was a far better site, but i guess they moved it to
pull in the public. As for the entry fee, i have to agree with kim
seven quid is a bit steep.
I think a fiver would be more like it, but the money does go to good
causes.
