Portland Day One

95 Degrees F and over 90% humidity made it an exhausting day for the three of us.

The site was muddy in places, but the hard roads were fine and it was drying up quickly by the afternoon. It was still in the high 80's F at 20.00.

Forecast is good, no rain overnight so humidity should fall.

Lots of stuff to see, have taken lots of pic's and videoing some of the more interesting engines that were running, including the 100hp vertical Fairbanks-Morse hot bulb engine.

Back today for more of the same, picked up some nice original engine literature including a Petter Atomic brochure, prices fairly steep but you don't 'have' to buy!
