Gentlemen,

As previously relayed today I fetched my newly acquired Mill Drill this involved the Dormobile Camper towing our Trailer to the other side of Warwick half way to Coventry, because the old girl cruises comfortably at

40 - 45mph my wife and I thought we would make a day of it and as I avoid Motorways like the plague when driving the Bedford we followed the pretty route. We left home at 9:45am and arrived at our destination at 12:15pm loaded up and started back. As ever resourceful my wife had packed sandwiches so between Southam and Daventry we pulled into a lay-by and stopped by a farm field to have a chat with a few friendly cows who were chewing the cud over some matter or other. We had made some tea, handy things Campers, and sat on the trailer to have our lunch when after a while a large Jaguar car pulled in and stopped right by us and asked how much did we want for the machine, I pointed out that I had just bought it and he went on his way. My wife now thinks that we look like Diddycoys trying to sell stuff in a lay-by as why else would somebody stop and ask how much, she was most put out that I should find it amusing. Any way we eventually hit the road again and arrived home at around 15:45pm. There is a sting though we went straight out again as she now wanted a Bird bath for the garden and it nearly cost as much as my new Mill Drill.
