Apart from yesterday's posting it seems very quiet within the group this year.

There are a number of possibilities. For instance:
- There is a general trend in all areas to move away from newsgroup forums to web-based forums.
- There may be fewer people actively involved in the subject.
- Perhaps many former participants have now asked all the questions they need to ask and have settled down to fairly quiet activity.
- Perhaps a core group of participants now have direct lines of communication that work well (but of course cut out the rest of us).
You may be able to think of other possibilities.
