D&E running days at M.R.Clubs

Our club,Barry & Penarth MRC holds 6 American /Canadian themed running days on various Saturdays through the year,see

I believe the idea is so that on these days operation is more prototypical with correct locos pulling correct stock, than is seen on general club nights when anything from old triang (crap) Princess to the latest class 66 appear without trains (at scalextric speeds) or with trains behind them.

Any one else have a club with a similar set up (i.e. anything goes on club nights) but with a diesel themed running day, either on a club night or a weekend?

Would any one be interested in setting up a D&E running day on a weekend and visiting us in Barry? It could be anything from once at our club then to another club too "x" number of meets at the Barry club through the year.
