For Sale: surplus OO stuff

The following items are reluctantly up for sale, due to very restricted finances (and the need to renovate my forlorn-looking racing bike!);

1) Rake of 4 BR lined maroon Mk1 coaches; SO, CK and BSK all Kitmaster with Peco card interiors, RMB by Tri-ang with interior, flush glazing and Commonwealth bogies. Flexible corridor connections and brass wheels throughout. Fairly good condition, £20 for the set, or nearest sensible offer.

2) BR Britannia, 70013 "Oliver Cromwell"; Tri-ang (with older type of valve gear) with Airfix tender (ex-9F) in lined green with scale bogie & tender wheels and some detailing inc. etched nameplates. Good runner in good cond., £20 o.n.o.

3) BR Metro-Cammell 2-car DMU; Detailed Tri-ang in lined MU green livery. Flush glazed, scale wheels on non-powered bogies, close-coupled with flexible gangway connection. Good runner in good cond., £20 o.n.o.

4) BR 1Co-Co1 Derby Type 4, D38; Detailed, flush-glazed Mainline body, Mainline underframe (altered to original spec. with no air brake tanks), Jouef EE Type 4 bogies (so the buffer beams are in the right place!) modified with correct side-frame detail and round buffer heads. Very heavy, no traction tyres. Good runner/hauler in spite of the Jouef motor's hit-and-miss reputation. Also features illuminated headcode boxes, finished in BR green livery (early version with no yellow warning panels). Good cond., £15 o.n.o.

All of the above feature tension-lock couplings and are suitable for Code 100 track. If interested, please reply by e-mail at deb107 snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.co.uk; buyer collects (I'm in Wolverhampton), genuine replies only please.

Regards, David E. Belcher

P.S. Bit of a long shot, but if any fellow cyclists are reading this ad, I would be willing to negotiate swaps for modern (mid '90s to present) 2nd-hand road bike components in good condition, rather than cash sales.
