Gentlemen. Many thanks for the comments to date - Still grappling with converting everything for use on the web and still trying to find some of the pictures. A coulpe of people have asked me to put the part finished work up on the web, so I have.
More pictures have been added, the very large sections have been divided into smaller pages and the text has been partially revised. Lots still to do, have had major problems with the phone line and with time to do the work, however revised copy has now been posted at . . .

Still a bit flaky but better (I think) than it was. This is about a fifth of the total I think, so far thats 20 mb.
