Thanks for the heads-up John - looks like I'll have to start saving my pennies for more 47s! The Dogfish wagons are a bit of a surprise - some ballast hoppers are welcome, but £20 seems very expensive for a wagon?

Tell that to the people who have been paying two and three times that amount for Lima Seacows on eBay! ;-)

John.

I wouldn't want to disillusion them! ;-)

Wonder what happened to 5203 ?

Agree, £20 for a dogfish?? perhaps they come in packs of 4??? just guessing??

"ViP" wrote

They do, but that trade packs - the RRP is GBP20.00 each.

John.

Is there a green (small yellow ends) version of the Hymek with correctly painted bufferbeam and cowling yet ?

No, but I can supply you with a tin of paint and a paintbrush. :-)

It looks pretty nice to me too! :-)

John.

A lot of it's in the lighting. Is it taken outside?

Just gotta love that building, too.

Regards,

Stuart.

Thats one of the few colour pictures I've seen of a model that looks real, black and white tens to pull it offf esier, but that picture loks incredible.

Yes, I remember David did say that. Keith Make friends in the hobby. Visit Garratt photos for the big steam lovers.

You have to look hard at the loco, e.g. wipers, gap above buffer beam, appearance of bogies. The trackwork, hopper wagon and factory wall are extremely realistic, right down to the open windows and peeling paint.

Only thing missing on a day like that is a couple of folks taking a break on the fire escape stairs, quite possibly listening to "Waterloo Sunset" on a Dansette tranny!

Cheers, Francis K.
