D'you know, I never considered that?! To me, they are all green EMUs. I think I might have to do some reading up on those! :-)

So were the Hals, Lavs, Cors and Bils Bulleid stock or Maunsell?

I really, really hope you haven't stimulated another interest here, Roger. I have far too many of them.... :-)

I wear the cheese. It does not wear me.

Oh, I dunno. You have to realise that I don't do diesels. However, the new Hornby Class 50 seems to be calling me. That huge expanse of plain blue is crying out for a filthy weathering job......

Ah, but they're not "Southern" units. :-)

Go right ahead, Enzo - splatter it with all you've got!

Hmm.

(a) Neither are the existing 2-car Networkers. (b) They run on the Southern's electrification.

Unless they're green, they ain't Southern. :-)

That's a bit extreme, if you ask me.

Probably. Anyway, the Southern finally died on the break up of BR(S).

I hope they re-engine the class 56 again, new class 50 motor would be perfect!! I would like some super detailed Mk2 coaches to compete with the Bachmann Mk1s.
