Does anyone have any knowledge good or bad of the New super detailed Hornby King Class, specifically R2234.

Sorry to be negative Eddie, but this is probably the worst of all the 'superdetailed' Hornby locos. It's really only a half-way house between the old tender drive abortion and the more recent quality locos. One to avoid I'm afraid if you're looking for a quality model.
