Is it my imagination, or are the glazing inserts on the corridor side of this new release mounted upside down (see photos on Hattons website)? The 'wooden' bars along the corridor windows appear higher than on other models in the range, and the 'first' emblems appear below rather than above the bars.
Is this a design/production error by Hornby, or were there detail variations in the prototype vehicles? Looks most odd anyway, when run with other models in the range (eg full second).
Does anyone know a 'safe' (non destructive) way to disassemble these models to correct this?
