Calling all GWS E- Starter pilots. What mods have you made and what do you recommend to make it fly better. I love mine with a Li-Poly 8.4v

Did you mean the 7.4V LiPoly? Try finding a set of 8 AAA 1100mah batteries. Drop on a 9x7 prop and go like stink. I've had really good success with this on my e-starter. They fit in the bay and really make the plane perform. I get roughly 10 minutes on mine going from just cruising around with a few high altitude glides thrown in to some fun aerobatics for about 3 or 4 minutes.
I think you have the wrong idea about the prop. Going to a lower pitch without changing anything else will make the plane go SLOWER.
