Fact is, there are people who harvest such information from the internet in a variety of ways for a variety or purposes. Some of this is harmless but way too much of it results in annoyance, harassment, maliciousness and out right evil. This is well documented in a number of venues. Look it up!

Looking at the archives of this news group there is ample evidence that harvested data has been used by members of this group in attempts to humiliate, harass and discredit others! And who knows how this info has been used by them outside of this group? And not once but numerous times!

And now you want me to provide you with my info? Let me explain this so even Fred can understand it! You have not demonstrated to me that you can be trusted enough for me to post such info publicly on this group! Let alone others here who have demonstrated in the past their lack of trust worthiness! And this makes ME guilty? What kind of drugs are you on anyway? And I challenge you to provide me with something to cause me to trust you.
