From the Land of Mickey Mouse.

Confirmed. Judi Dunlap appointed as interim District V VP.

Her qualifications are:

Appointed as Contest Coordinator for the State of Florida (2001) and made an AMA member and elevated to Leader Member at the same time by District VP Jim McNeill. Was named VP sometime in the summer of 2003. Judi's husband is a member of the Ocala Flying Model Club, one of the largest in the District, and Judi did the promotion work for the club. Her actual modeling experience is only slightly better than Jim McNeill's over the past 15 or 20 years. (Zero vs. being married to an active modeler). According to Dave Brown she was one of two AVP nominees by McNeill to replace him should he become unable to serve.

District V has 18 AVPs, One, Manny Sousa, has already been nominated to run in this year's election. If this election turns into a 3 way race will Dunlap be able to take advantage of being the incumbent against those already nominated, Sousa and Stillman?

Do we send another non-modeler to Muncie to represent us? She has stated that she does not plan on changing anything!

If gas didn't cost so much I'd drive to Birmingham and piss on his headstone.

The bastard is yanking District V around one last time, from the grave.

Fred, I've read a lot of your posts but this one really takes the cake. That lick was lower than a snakes belly. Eddie Fulmer

I was wondering how long it would take before the real slime stepped in on this! Congratulations Fred for not disappointing me! You've just lived up to everything I know you are!

Why is it that when a person dies, he becomes a saint regardless of how he was here? I think Fred just had the gonads to say what a lot of people think.

Dunno what your panties are in a wad about.

I wrote nothing in that post I have not been saying for _decades_, and you know that much quite well having participated in those threads over the years.

Jim McNeill is dead. That really is an unfortunate thing for his wife of five decades and for his children and grand children. Really, really, too bad.

I have never said I wished him dead, just out of AMA office.

I detested Jim McNeill for what he did to AMA and to District V.

I also made sure he knew it, up close and personal, more than ten years ago.

I confronted McNeill several times when he was alive.

I wonder if you can say the same.

Not a saint by any means. But the man is dead! Can't you McNeil haters let go of it and allow the man to rest in peace? Obviously not! I do hope all of you experience the same level of respect when you go!

And for the record, McNeil only SUGGESTED who his replacement should be. It was up to Dave Brown and/or the EC to make the decision who to appoint. Maybe you should take your gripes up with them?

Fuck off you sniveling little prick.

You don't _know_ a damn thing about me.

Maybe you should learn about that which you would profess expertise.

Dave Brown and/or the EC don't get to appoint anyone.

AMA By-Laws say that when the death occurs within three months of the normal end of term, appointments can be made. Otherwise, an election by the Open Members _will be conducted_.

Ms. Dunlap doesn't hold the office, can't hold the office, and if the membership of District V is disenfranchised by political wannabes, Mr. Brown and the surviving Executive Council will find themselves in a court room answering some really pointed questions about violating the By-Laws of a 501C(3) organization.

But of course you wouldn't know that because as far as AMA is concerned you're a complete ass and utter ignoramus.

But to continue your childish rant at this point in time demonstrates your total lack of basic human consideration. You sir are despicable! I look forward to the day I can tell you to your face!

And when has the EC allowed something like a silly rule to get in their way? They allowed it! They could have changed it but they allowed it for whatever reason. However, it is just interim so maybe there will be out of cycle elections soon. Or, maybe the selected just might prove to be worthy after all. Time will tell. Glad my enjoyment of the hobby isn't dependant on any of that.

replacement.

See! That's what I like about you Fred! Right to the point! Took you five paragraphs/lines to get there. But right to it. You wanted nothing more than to do some more of your name calling. Just can't help it can you?

And for the record, one of the reasons I came to this group in the first place was to gain some impressions about the AMA. And this group and prima donnas like Fred are a couple of the reasons why I do not belong to the AMA!

But you know what Fred? The appointment is identified as an interim appointment. Know what that means Fred? Not permanent! Temporary until a permanent selection can be made!

Get a clue you pathetic lump of animal waste.

I know you're a foul mouthed low life! You've demonstrated that quite well right here. Several times now! Care to make something of it? Or do you wish to continue in your typically pathetic and immature ways?

Oh! I see your logic now. When I die, everything I did while I was here will be erased.

If you quit hiding behind a bogus e-mail address maybe it could be arranged. Do you still live at Brainerd Ct in Springfield VA?

Here is the rub Fred, right after the statement about "within 3 months" they put this little jewel, " "or when a Council meeting is called or scheduled during the nominating and voting period, the outgoing Vice President (or the Executive Council in the event of his demise, incapacity, or inaction) shall make an interim appointment from among the active Associate Vice Presidents in the district."

There is an executive council meeting next weekend - is this within the "nominating and voting period"?

Sure wish we had some legal minds to help sort this out. Like define "active" for one. Maybe they should have substituted "among the Associate Vice Presidents having vital signs". This would cover most of them, while the term "active" could conceivably eliminate a few. As we know, in District V an "active" AVP was soon a former AVP in at least 5 cases in the recent past.

I don't have the first clue what you're talking about. But if that's what you want to think, knock yourself out! However you do seem rather obsessed about something. Maybe you're simply mourning the loss of your old nemesis, McNeil?

Sure thing, bub.

Your kind is just full of threats as long as they can hide behind nom de plumes.

Coward, some might say.

You call me a "real slime", and expect me to reply with kind words ?

Grow up.

I'm not on a rant.

Eddie thought my post beneath his dignity.

I thought my post reflected the position I've held with regard to Jim McNeill for almost twenty years, a position I still hold based on having met him on numerous occasions, on having been an eyeball witness to his shenanigans, and on having lived in this District for the same amount of time.

I have nothing to apologize for because I made my personal opinion of Jim known to him more than once, and I see no reason to elevate him to sainthood (as someone else wrote) just because he's met the same ultimate fate we will all meet.

You on the other hand precipitated the rant with your "real slime" comment.

You who are not a member of AMA, you who never met Jim McNeill, you who have not been witness to the political dirty tricks and machinations of the man.

Who the hell are you to tell anyone how to speak about their experiences with Jim McNeill ?

Come to think of it, who the hell _are_ you ?

Kevin, some people think, reincarnated.

In any event, your expertise in this subject is nil.

Now go 'way and bother someone who is not likely to reply in kind to your snottygrams and personal insults.
