Re: Monocoupe ARF.

If this is the one by Kange, there is an excellent review on RC Universe. A friend has the Kange Monocoupe with an OS 1.60 FX in it. Except for the soft landing gear (see review) it is a beautiful looking AND flying plane. Almost makes me wish I had gotten it instead of the Pacific Aero Gee Bee Y.

Anyone have this new ARF and what do you think of it? > Tony >

I feel you will need something more powerful. The 91 indicated in the specs is for a 2 stroke 91. If it is a REAL STRONG 91 you MIGHT BE ok, but you are not going to have anything left over. I would strongly recommend a MINIMUM of a 1.20, preferably a 1.50 or larger 4 stroke. In a 2 stroke a MINIMUM of a 91, preferably a 1.20 or 1.60 (The OS 1.60 FX really makes the plane come alive).

That's the one. I am going to get a heavier landing gear but painting it red? Also I have a 91 os OS 4 stroke lying around but that would be underpowered.
