Ride in a real glider..where?

Want to give a sailplane ride or lesson gift to an R/C glider modeler in Washington state.

Not interested in a club of the local banner tow business who only does it part-time.

Thank. kb

Kb,

Check out the glider operation at Arlington Airport, about 40 miles north of Seattle on Interstate 5. They fly Blanik L-23s out of there, and some privately-owned sailplanes. The Boeing glider club flies there. This is the home of the big EAA fly-in every July.

Also, Ephrata Airport in Eastern Washington is the hotspot for glider guys who want boomer thermals all spring/summer/fall. The Seattle Glider Council flies there.
