The maker created a unique storage solution that provides quick access to bandages. The assembly involves a black mounting holster which attaches directly next to an electrical light switch box on a concrete wall. The removable case fits into this holster. The construction is such that the case is lifted straight up out of the holder to remove it. It then slides back down until it rests firmly in its place. This mechanism is efficient for its purpose of keeping adhesive bandages stored inside.

The design itself is capsule-shaped and mimics an adhesive bandage. The case features a striking red front cover that has white polka dots and white outline details. A central white medical cross is displayed inside a circle on this cover. The back section of the case is transparent. The stored packaging inside shows the text "BAND" and "plus."

I find the choice of using a red and white cross interesting. One member suggested that the color scheme might be for ease of printing using only two colors, while another suggested the design may copy bandages found in stores. The case is compatible with a previous pill case design that the maker produced. Both the band-aid box and the pill case model are available online for others to use.

The decision to make the back section transparent is very clever. It allows the user to see the packaged adhesive bandages without needing to remove the case from the holster.

The maker mentioned the holster has screw mounting holes inside its cavity. What type of fasteners does the maker use to affix the black mounting holster to the concrete wall?

Since the case slides back down into the holder until it rests firmly in place, it might be beneficial to suggest adding a small magnetic stop near the holster opening to ensure the case doesn't accidentally slide further.
