Can't find datasheet or pinout for this IC

"360-2002B" 16-DIP. Google shows surplus inventory and e-Pain shows:
<http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item 0504922550#ht_513wt_1165

(Yes, I PM'd them and no, they don't know what it is...)
Funny, so many are willing to sell them to you but can't tell you what it is.
Thanks, Dave

Is it possible it's a ULN2002 Darlington Array?

Has the ON semicondutor logo. It is a custom marked part for an unknown OEM. That ebay seller claims "100% tested before shipping. Gurantee exchange if it is fault." so either they know what it is, or they are lying.

Try to actually buy one. Those so called sellers list millions of parts they've never seen. They copy lists from other component weseles, looking for suckers. When you bite, they send out emails to everyone they can think of to try and locate the part. Since a lot of the lists were compiled from the indexes of databooks, there is a 99% likelyhood that no one has any.

finger to keyboard and composed:

It appears to be a custom part for an APC UPS.
"Smart UPS 620 (SU620INET) No. NS9424340482"

Contact pin DB9M - pinU4:
pin1 - pin15 SDI; pin2 - pin4 SDD; <----- should this be SDO ? pin3 - pin 5 ONBAT NO; pin4, 9GND - pin7, 8 GND; pin5 - pin9 LOBAT NO; pin6 - pin6 ONBAT NO; pin7 - pin13 REMOT IN; pin8 - svoboden (= free, not connected)
