Locksmiths on Eastern Long Island

Would any locksmith's out there be willing to take on a very eager apprentice? I'm very interested in working as a locksmith, but not owning my own business. I currently work as a Lock Specialist in the hardware store I'm employed in, and do remedial tasks like rekey locks, pick and shim locks, and on the side I do some lock installations. I'm very experienced with hardware and higher end locks such as baldwin, but I've also got experience with many or the more familliar brands, like arrow, schlage, and kwikset. I've learned a lot about locksmith techniques on my own, but I'd like to expand my knowledge, and work as a locksmith full-time. I may only be able to work part time at first, but that could quickly change, depending on the opportunity. If you're interested, please reply.
