Apparently this is a european lock (possibly swiss). I have a customer with this mortised lever handle/deadbolt lock on their front door...beautiful door beautiful lock. I am looking for a replacement cylinder for the deadbolt. It comes as a solid unit that runs the full thickness of the door ( about 3 3/4 inches not counting the thumbturn). The thumbturn is attached and the unit is held in place by a setscrew through the doors edge. I can email pictures if it would help anyones memory. I have tried the vendors that I deal with and no one has any answers for me...any ideas?

This sounds like a standard profile cylinder. Or is it longer than a standard?
Is a replacement cylinder necessary or are you just stumped on how to re key the thing?
