Hey All,
Anybody heard from Fitch lately? How is he doing, and the family? And of course how's the "dream" house operating?

I hear from him often, visited him in May. Everyone's doing fine, they are purely enjoying the heck out of being retired. House is done and all moved into, very nice indeed. Now he's designing houses for other people. His separate shop building is also built but not quite "moved into" yet. That'll be a "winter project". He spends a lot of time in the summer shooting.
Tell him we at RCM were asking about him. I miss his presence here, but I understand his new life must be real busy.
I now have three "Tuned by Fitch" phase converters running on the place.

WE GOT RAIN!!! 2.8 INCHES. As I had just finished putting 2.5 inches down, we're good for at least three+ weeks.
"The Kid" TIG welded my leak on the traveler. I blew all the water out of it for winter. Then backed it into the storage place and busted a spring and spring bar. So, now I got repairs before it runs again.

"for winter"? Oh, Karl, now you've gone & done it! You've just guaranteed a return of drought! You took the rain for granted & the rain god's going to kick your ass. Your only hope is to pull all the equipment out, hook up the water, prime the lines, whatever you do to be ready to irrigate. Then MAYBE the rain will stay.

Cool! I have a "thank you" on the web page for my Sheldon lathe, as he let me have a new VFD he had, for the shipping cost! Talk about a NICE guy! Wish I could do him a favor in return!
