Armed citizen thwarts home invasion robbery

In the gun world..thats called the Halo Effect

If a fair percentage of the population carries a concealed weapon, for example..bad guys tend to back off from even those who dont carry..simply because they are afraid that they will pick an armed one.

If no one is capable of armed defense..the wolves know the flock is ripe for picking.

In our town (Las Vegas) there has been a rash of shootings lately. Two major OIS incidents, one where approximately 650 rounds were discharged. One where a police sergeant was killed, and a UC wounded.

If you have a permit, PACK at all times. You may be able to make a difference.

A few years ago here, a guy went into a market late at night. Started shooting and killing people. Too bad some granny wasn't packing that night.

Point is, you don't have to be a Rambo. And if you're a Casper Milquetoast liberal, and don't want to pack, don't. However, it is amazing how the Caspers levitate towards a protector in that situation, and who soon go out for a permit.

Despite reports to the contrary, we do live in a world where those grizzlies aren't as friendly as some liberals would like us to think they are.

It's your ass. But for me, I'm packing. And when the going gets tight, NO, YOU CANNOT BORROW MY GUN.
