European Threat Level Increased

From an Alert Email from a Snake Eater buddy of mine:

"I have just been informed through the SF List that the Security Threat Level in Europe HAS BEEN INCREASED. Please read below: European Terror Threat Levels Increased As Follows:

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross."

Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists themselves have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to "A Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was during the great fire of 1666.

Also, the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide." The only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France 's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly!" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides."

The Germans also increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbor" and "Lose."

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual, and the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels .

The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.

The Swiss, as always, have taken the phone off the hook.

On a slightly confused note. The buffoons that drove a burning Jeep with loaded with propane gas canisters at the Glasgow airport terminal building have been charged with "conspiracy to cause an explosion". Given that one of them (who died) had a PhD in design and technology, I think it's a very sad day for our education system.

1) It wasn't "conspiracy to cause an explosion". It was arson. 2) If you've got a doctorate in design and technology and didn't learn how to make a decent bomb, WERE YOU ASLEEP THROUGHOUT YOUR ENTIRE F***ING EDUCATION???

The responses from the citizens of said countries when the news breaks:

English, "We have owned and lost most countries throughout the world, and today are glad to call you allies".

Londoners are busy at a football game. Check back Tuesday.

French sent a notice, "Like new French rifle, dropped once, surrendered twice, never fired". Never won a war, so what's it to ya?

Italy, "What has the Pope to say about this? Can we talk our way out of action?"

Germans, "Like the French, we make money on terrorism. Is there a problem. . ?" The call was cut short due to a bomb blast, details on the ten-o'clock news.

Belgians are playing the British.

Spanish want to let the rest of the world fight this out and side with the winner or winners.

Swiss offer to host a huge summit, at attendee's expense.

I think it was supposed to be the Mother Ship appearing. But they may have changes their plans (again).

Too bad.

Would have been real fun.
