Julie - Diabetes in the 100 club

Mostly for Ed Huntress here,

Milady has had Diabetes for over 20 years. Not the type 2 most everybody thinks of when you say diabetes but the more serious type

1...

She got a continous glucose montor (CGM) to go along with her insulin pump nine years ago. For those that haven't heard of this technology, the unit montors her blood glucose (sugar) level once every five minutes 24X7. She still does the conventional needle stick blood glucose test twice a day to calibrate the CGM.

OK, 100 is perfect. You see it once in a blue moon with a needle stick. You also occasionally see a perfect 100 on the CGM. Both together is EXTREMELY RARE. Cause for clebration.

Julie just did it

Hey, that's great, Karl! She's really nailing it. Tell her I'm very happy for her, and that I hope she stays right there.
