--Fun last night; went to this place for the 7th anniversary of Dorkbot ,where we heard lectures on everything from food software (too complex to explain here), to Tesla coil induced power transmission. This lab, which is located in San Francisco's warehouse district, has a mondo awesome Tesla coil and watching it do its thing was quite an experience! --Twenty feet tall at least; 11ft secondary coil; wish I'd brought earplugs. Once you see that sucker in action one sorta gets the bug; I think I'm going to have to build one, bwahahaha.
