It does sound funny, now that I think about it. The name can be translated roughly as "Mach.Tool and Press".

You know, it is funny enough to see the leadscrew painted. But look at the top left corner, above the handles and a little behind the front of the lathe. There, it is supposed to be an ammeter gauge. They painted it over too. ??????
