OT: Farewell Kevin

I looked back through a sample of his posts, and it appears he posted only on-topic material to this newsgroup, and never crossed Mark Wieber's path. I think we can rest assured that Mark Wieber, the asshole from Taft, CA, will not be claiming that Kevin met with a bad end due to Wieber's associates' criminal acts.

My condolences to you and your family. I didn't realize he was my age.

Wow. Not only almost the same age as I am, but our wok paths may well have crossed at Bell Labs or Fort Monmouth. Axolotl was certainly one of the good voices around here, and he will be missed.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. Its hard to lose a parent at anytime, but 61 is such a young age.

Eric, condolences on losing your dad. I hope you were close enough to not have missed telling him all the things you wanted to, while he was still alive. I saw my dad's death coming and talked with him the evening before he died. His MD gave him 3 years for the congestive heart failure to run its course, and he passed within a couple days of that date, 3 years later, after only a week of decreased livelihood. I'm glad that both he and Kevin didn't suffer long.

Kevin will be missed here.
