Can I copy a lot of parameters from one part to another, easily

Hi, I have a bunch of part files to which I'd like to add a many parameters. The parameters will later be used to fill in drawing header etc. The parts are 'old' so changing the template part won't help.

If I'm correct I can only add parameters by pressing '+' in the parameter window in Wildfire so my ideas was to create a mapkey for one of the parameters, edit the mapkey in notepad (or something) to add the rest of the parameters by copy 'n paste and only change the name of the parameters. When I run the mapkey later it would add all parameters for me. Unfortunately it seems like ProE is using some code for the letters in the parameter names so it does not easily translate into clear text. Thank you ProE!

There is also a way to export parameters as a file but I can't find a way to import them again.

Maybe there is a chance to se 'new_parameter_ui' to 'no' and use a trail file and mapkeys to do this, but I haven't tried it yet.

Do anyone have other ideas?

/Bjorn

ModelCheck can add parameters and a corresponding value to an existing part file.

Create a mapkey that creates all the parameters you want in a single button push, simple and easy!
