I jsut booked my NARAM room. Here's some info that's missing from the NARAM.ORG web site:
First and most important, the RAMADA 800 number was clueless. Both they and the internet site showed no availability for the week of NARAM, and they couldn't tell me the NARAM rate or anything else.
The Queen City rate is $79 per night plus tax. The regular rate is $99. And I checked and the NARAM rate is better than the AARP rate! There is an extra @25 per stay charge for pets.
WiFi is free (unlike the $10 per day the NARCON Marriott wanted :-( ). A fridge is $6 per night. The pool is currently under renovation, and should be ready long before NARAM. Hopefully this won't be a repeat of NARAM-43s dead pool.
I don't know how big a block they booked, or how many are taken. Could be they blocked the whole place, given the national system shows no availability for the week.
