No TRA Insurance

It's Jan. 01 and TRA has insurance. Can you state which Prefectures will not be having launches because of TRA working the problem?

This does not effect MDRA launches in any way shape or form........ We can and will still fly, we have our own insurance.......... thank god.

Soforstyoublameitonmethanon weather.

Neitheris in any relatedtothe facts.

Either it is caused by TRA premature announcement or Battle Park people being quick to react. I tend to not blame launch hosts when given a preference. It takes something pretty radical for a launch host to get my attention like removing spectators for watching or trying or even succeeding to shut down an unaffiliated launch a mile or more from their site.

I just hope battle park goes on as scheduled!

They have important Jerry-motors to fly!

They have not reinstated the launch? I'll find out for you. If they don't... someone should fire the launch director.

I'll bet the launch happens. And Jerry Irvine remains on the low road. I knew you wouldn't do anything honorable in this regard.

Make up your mind. You're worse than you claim Jerry is.

from insurance FAQ at

"7. Has there ever been a claim against Tripoli?s insurance?

Yes. One of our members, along with a landowner, was named in a lawsuit involving a minor launching a model rocket at a launch event the member was sponsoring. The member in question had not obtained an insurance certificate for the landowner. The claim is currently pending. This is a good example of using extreme caution when assisting in launches involving non Tripoli members. Depending on the outcome of the claim, our member is out at least $2,500."

keep in mind that the insurance does not cover everything

" 6. If I rent a vehicle and I damage it in a rocketry related activity, will Tripoli?s insurance policy cover it?

No. Since you rented the vehicle, you are the responsible party for it. Tripoli?s insurance coverage does not provide insurance coverage for a member?s property, and would consider a vehicle rented by a member as such."

also keep in mind that incidents may have occurred that did not meet the $2,500 deductible, and so would not necessarily have been reported

"10. What do I do in the event of a potential loss?

IF AN ACCIDENT OCCURS INVOLVING ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE THAT WILL POSSIBLY EXCEED THE $2,500 DEDUCTIBLE, COMPLETE THE ACCIDENT REPORT FORM AND SEND IT TO THE TRIPOLI INSURANCE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY!"

Are you at liberty to say what happened to trigger a lawsuit in the first place? Did a rocket somehow cause damage or injury?

So what exactly is your criterion for "low road" vs. "honorable" action here? I'm confused.

I think you're going to remain confused. I've got you on the nose-so-far-up-Jerrys-ass-he-can't-breathe list.

Just for the record he stays very neutral. He askes pointed questions from all sides. He has hung my ass on astring more than once. So you shold consider him an ally theoretically, since that is your SINGULAR goal.
