We weren't talking about you, we were talking about Michael Moore.
There's no point, you're already annoying.
I have not seen "Roger and Me". I have seen his Bowling movie and found it quite entertaining. On that basis, F911 may be entertaining as well.
You're just sick. ;)
Don't we all. But his good work is entertaining. Sure they tend to be propaganda films, or the world according to Moore. There are elements of his style that I like and other elements that I don't like. I don't think his films are true proper documentaries, but they fit that category better than other existing categories.
How so? I'd rather not prejudge it.

That was a truly insightful, pithy, and insightful remark :)
Wouldn't make any difference. It's still abusing the power of the office. And it's not like Monica was the only one...

I think it would be better if Dr. K. would put the government out of business.

Jim,
Thanks for the invite, but I am pretty swamped. Working on a 3 stage event timer that will have each stage programmable for "timer" function or "motor burn-out sense" and a few other nifty things like continuity testing of e-matches and status displayed with LEDs and a small PCB mounted buzzer. Can also be configured for "G-SWITCH" operation or "PULL-PIN" operation. It is taking me longer then expected but I am trying to get protos done by the August 7th XRAA launch. I will be bring 2 prototypes with me, 1 for Norm for use at BALLS, and one for the TTA boys to play with / destroy ;)
Do me a favor, drink a beer for me on Saturday!

You know times have changed when the scandal about "The President's Secret Mistress" is more about the Secret than the Mistress.

OK, I have now seen the three Michael Moore films.
"Roger and Me", was entertaining and not boring. I do admit that I have a sister living in Michigan, and I have been to Michigan several times. I could see where some viewers are just disinterested in Flint, regardless of the story being told. Some of the story is about the pursuit of Roger Smith. IMHO, Roger goes unscathed as a GM businessman, except for his cowardly refusal to meet with Moore. OTOH, it would be bad if Roger had closed the Flint GM plants over some vindictive side bet like in "Trading Places". The people who came out looking bad are the Flint city leadership who piss away a LOT of public money trying to promote Flint tourism.
"Bowling For Columbine", is Moore's best of the three films.
"Fahrenheit 9/11", is OK, but not his best. We already know about Bush and his friends, and that war is hell. Moore is not really giving us a new perspective here. In that sense, it is somewhat boring and I expected more. While it is critical of Bush, it is not the smoking gun that will bring down his regime.

Read this; The truth about "Bowling for Columbine"
Key word here is FILM....not documentary.
I really do want to see Fahrenheit 9/11 but since I quit going to movie theaters I'll have to wait until the DVD release. Never-the-less I think I'll be entertained by Fahrenheit 9/11 as a FILM, not a documentary.
Remember, Moore is just a 'movie director' that timed and totally hyped his movie. As a director should. Gotta make money!

EXACTLY!
Moore is a MOVIE maker, and by all accounts a pretty good movie maker. To call Moore a documentarian is a direct insult to documentarians.

Yes,propagandist would be much more accurate. It's amazing what people are willing to believe.
So it seems that people's real complaint about Moor's movies is that they're more "editorial" than "documentary" in nature - "opinion pieces" rather than "historical reference works"?

And award ceremonies are LETTING him call it a "documentary."
It most certainly is NOT.
