Can anyone tell me what Humbrol paint colours are required for the RAF version of this old airfix kit? It looks like white/grey/green, but I'm not sure what shades or even if its meant to be gloss or matt.

The first RAF Harriers in service would be Dark Green (Humbrol 163) Dark Sea Grey (Humbrol 164) topsides, and Light Aircraft Grey (Humbrol 166) undersides. The finish was glossy. Hope this helps, Chek

AFAIR, some of the earliest Harrier GR3's were delivered without the LRMTS nose.
They were in matt finish.

Matt paint was introduced before the GR3 conversion, along with tactical (red/blue) roundels on the uppers.
GR3 conversion dealt with the engine mark, the LRMTS as you say came, in some cases, later.
