An-22 Even more progress

The model now sits on all 14 wheels and the wings and tailplane are on.

For those who want to know how big it is - there is a photo of it sitting next to Trumpeter's Tu-95 Bear!

I have just started on the flaps while the filler dries...............

Better you then me with that one mate.... I still don't have the patience for something that involved.... besides, I only work in 1/48, and I like the garage as it is now.

I take my hat off for you Ken, but I hope your wife has the same appreciation for that work ;-) Have seen many of your models online and I guess your next project will be an aircraft hangar in the garden ? Anyway, keep up the good work.

About a dozen years ago my wife told me it was either her or all those damned models. Sure wish she hadn't taken my battery operated Xacto drill. Sure do miss it! :)
