Can F-8J version be built from 1/48 Hasegawa F-8E kit?

Can the F-8J version be built from the 1/48 Hasegawa F-8E kit? If so, what modifications/deletions are needed?

Thanks, Jeff

Why not just buy the "J" kit?

Not really. The -J had larger stabs and double-droop wing leading edge flaps. Both of these changes are represented by different parts in the Hasegawa F-8J kit, which you would be better off in getting if you wanted to do a -J.

Ok, how about the 1/48 Monogram kit? It just says F-8, without a variant letter. Any idea what it is?

The Monogram kit is an F-8E.
