Well, yes and no. You can find decals for the ND ANG F-16's that responded out of langley, but they are not up to date.Expert's Choice sheet 72-15 has markings for ND ANG Happy Hooligans aircraft 82-926 which was the lead a/c of the two ship scramble. But the a/c had different tail markings at the time. See the following page from my web site:
I'm a member of the local air museum and as part of a sales event for the artist who painted both the WTC and Pentagon scramble flyovers they had the actual aircraft in the museum with pilot and crew chief. I took advantage of the event and was able to grab a whole bunch of detail photos of the a/c. I also purchased one of the lithos of the ND ANG a/c and it is signed by both the pilot and the artist with personal messages from both.
I'm currently building a set of everything the ND ANG has flown including the oddballs which were only flown for short periods of time. I'm planning to build both a 'typical' a/c with the Expert's Choice coming 'out of the box' and then also building the specific 9/11 scramble a/c as well. If you want to do that you'll have to get a hold of some grey letter decals for the tail and make smaller versions of the Teddy Roosevelt decal to go behind the cockpit.
My choice for kits for the F-16 is the newly rele- ased Monogram F-16C which has the correct engine, multiple tails, and also has at least the upper IFF "Chicken Slicer" aerial. The lower one shouldn't be too hard to make with sheet plastic. The only thing that isn't included in the kit is the Sparrows IIRC.
