Hannants was just advertising a reissue in stock.

Well close but no banana. The reissued kit is of the short fuselage, early version of the Connie. The 749.
What he wants is the latter version, the 1049, and that seems to be in very short supply.

Well, good news for me. I wanna paint one olive drab. Cheers,
The Keeper (of too much crap)
Hannants had two versions up; the other was a C-121 variant which appeared to be close to a 1049.

Yeah, they do indeed have two versions. But both are variants of the shorter 749 Connie. Essentially the same kit with different markings. One is probably Pan Am and the other is of course an Air Force C-121A with MATS markings.
I really wish it was the later 1049 version, specifically the Navy Radar Picket WV-2 as I have been looking for a couple of those.

That's their C-121A, which still isn't the 1049, it's the little one, more like the older C-69. Maybe you could look for there EC-121 (or was it a WV-2?) with the radomes. That's what I did a while back when I wanted to do a SEA camo RC-121(?).
If you're interested in such things. They just dedicated the EA-3B static here at Ft Meade. It's done in the VQ-1 scheme for buno 144850 that was lost with all crew in a landing mishap on Nimitz Jan 25 1987. No pictures on the public site yet but I'm sure they'll be posted here
Details of the mishap are here
