They appear to be correct. The Fuselage roundels are Type A1 which were standard up until about May 1942. The subsequent C1 roundel had a narrow white ring, which is probably what you were expecting.
The squadron markings are from 73 Sqn which used the Hurricane IIC from June
42 till July 43. Note that repainting of aircraft was not a priority in the Desert Air Force, so it is entirely probable that aircraft would have continued to carry the earlier style roundels after the supposed changeover point.Join the Discussion
