Paint it green, paint it white, throw on some red stars and zippitydoodah ya got yerself a Russkie P-40. I don't see any outward differences other than the odd exhausts. Is there something I've missed, and where do you get the pipes?
The prop spinner is smaller and there's an exposed area behind the spinner. There are also some other different lumps and bumps. I'm surprised that there isn't a greater difference as the Klimov was the Russian relative of the Hispano-Suiza 12Y series. This is one that's slipped by my radar. I did make up a P-63 in VVS markings years ago. IIRC it was the old Aoshima kit.
