Depends on if you want a Heyford. I think it's the only kit of one in
1/72 scale. Stevee wrote:
so it's not accurate?
When first released in the 1980s the reviews were pretty good. There was somw issue about whether they had missed a window from the side of the nose, but the shape was never criticised. It was a decent kit to build - not as chunky as some Matchbox offerings and it certainly looks right to me. As you'd expect, plenty of scope for detailing, but it will be a long time before there's a new tool...... Cheers, Bill.
so for 14 bucks, i can bash out a REALLY brit bomber. i believe i'll giver her a go. is there a name for a fuselage on the top wing ac? sounds like something the bigdomes would do.
i'll snag both next trip to the real world. got a pic of yours, bill?
I've always wondered about the stresses involved with the lower wing being below the fuselage and the undercart being attached to it.
As to your original question, I'd say go for it! Stock up on Dark Slate Grey. It's real close to NIVO if not the exact shade.

YES!
Not perfect, but probably the best of MBs bigger kits. Plently of scope for adding detail
Don't reply to the btconnect address - and remove nospam!!
