Math can be Evil

It's either waaaay to late. Or I have had Soooo very much Coffee and Chocolate that I may very well have exceeded the safe limits for the average days doseage by a large margin.

Well the point is I can not seem to think straight right now. So could one of you please help me out here with my Math.

If something measures 8 and 1/2 inches long and is supposed to be 25 feet if it were full sized. What scale is the Thing. Someone please help me out with this.

Makes me feel like I never learned any kind of crap when I went to school. But them One room school houses were so very hard to learn anything in at times.

Scale is 8 1/2 / (25x12) = 1/ 35 (about)

Convert feet to inches and divide the result by 8.5 - it's approximately 1/35 scale.

when I think back to all the crap I learned in high school, it's a wonder I think at all... Paul Simon.

if I've done it right, it's 1/35th scale.

25' x 12" = 300"

300" / 8.5"=35.2941176470588235294117647058824. which is close to 35th, if you ask me.

Just to test the math... 8.5 x 35 = 297.5. Which is damn close.
