New Hasagawa

The only other Draken I know of near that scale was Lindberg's so I assume it's their own kit.

On the subject of Hasegawa, my local plastic emporium this last weekend had the Hasegawa McDonnel-Douglas AV-8B plus Harrier on the shelf. I still say this bird looks like it belongs in the science fiction category rather than aircraft, it's just too weird watching this thing go from flight to hover and back. Anyway, the kit number was Pt-28, and the sales flyer enclosed says there will be a night attack version of the kit released later, kit #Pt-34 and a "Desert Harrier" kit #09538. This sales flyer says releases shown will be from March 2004 thru June 2004 and no Canadair Sabre or SAAB Draken are included. There are another bunch of releases but they are all previously released items with new decals.

The Draken better be new, the only one (1:48) I know have been made so far is the old Lindberg, which was ment to fly by use of a slingshot!!!

A 1/48 Draken? When? Where did you see the info? I want one! (or two, or three...)

Unfortunately it seems to be a misprint. The kit price at Greatmodels was less than the 1/72 Drakens listed. I then did a Google search with the item number and all pointed to 1/72 kits. Oh well...
