Included in this mess is the fact the Sikorsky also made a series of aircraft (mostly flying boats) during the "Golden Age". I wonder if the sharks think that they also have rights to the Ilya Mourmetz? (A Sikorsky design)

I chose not to focus on the US aspect of it as a lot of these models (and real products) are sold globally.

Now what about those kits of the Aircrane/Skycrane, who's trademarks are those?

It has been an assumption that it is in the public domain but that may not actually be the case, and at best, it would apply to copyright, not trademark.
