Is there a site with a list of the standard paint schemes and colour references for the main USAF and USN fighter/bomber aircraft? I've tried google but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of specific information.

and check the color references. The USAF Tech Order with the color schemes and FS numbers is there along with the US Navy and US Army equivalents. We also have the available paints for each FS number listed there as well. IPMS Stockholm is excellent for finding the paint mixes for those pre-mixed colors not available to you. HTH
