Adding revolve w/Feature Pallet

Ok, I've only been using SW for about 4 years, but I only used the feature pallet a handful of times. Could somebody help me?

I have a piece of tubing, bent all over the place. On each end of the tubing I need to add flared ends. I'm not drawing the tubing hollow because it's not important.

I drew the revolved shape (flared end) on a block, then saved the revolve as a library feature. However, when I insert it, SW is looking for a plane that coincides with the revolve plane. Ideally, I'd like to drag-and-drop the part on the each end face of the tubing, centered.

I tried to make a boss and add the revolve to the boss. Then I was going to save the boss and the revolve as a sldlbf, but SW doesn't allow the revolve to be saved with the boss.

I'm sure this is an easy one, but I'm wasting a bit too much time.

Thanks

Hello Todd,

Try this,

formatting link
Create a base extrude of 1" diameter, the Insert>Library Feature and chose the above. SW will ask for two (2) things, a face (either end of your extrusion), and an edge (the cicular edge of the same end).

It works for me, shoot me an email if you have any questions.
