As soon as you pick 2 edges with the edge flange feature, the parallel to face option disappears, can anyone confirm. Am I missing why this happens? Thanks.

because you can have 2 edges which aren't parallel to one another. if the edges are not parallel to one another, how could they ever be parallel to something else (at the same time)? i think multiple edges in one feature has too many detractions. another being you can never edit/delete the 1st edge.
