SWX 2007 sp3.1
Open a part with the "description" custom property filled in. Do file/save-as/copy and give it a new file name and a new description.
The original part has its description changed to the one you typed for the copy!
Can anyone repeat this?

I can sort of see why it does it - the "description" custom property field that you see in the "save as" dialogue box is seemingly a repeat view of the
*normal* custom property field. This means you are actually changing the property, rather than specifying what you want the property to be in the copied part.It's confusing, and it shouldn't be so, but I can see why it arises.

Yes, I see this. SWX 2007 sp3.1
After the save as, if you then save the original part without the copy, the changed description is saved with it.
Another thing when changing properties is that if you have saved a part, and then edit the custom properties, that further change is not flagged. If you then exit the part without saving first, and you won't be prompted to do so, those changes to the properties are lost.
