Scale drawings of 100 ton log car

Jan 27, 2004 1 Replies

Hi everyone

Does anyone have any idea where I can find scale drawings of a 100 ton logcar, the type used by todays RR's. It looks like a spine car with 6 post and is used by the Federal Paper Board. I think it was built by Southern Iron and Equipment at Ashland City, Tennasee.

I would love to scratch build this car in HO scale and I have spent 3 months in search of drawings. There was an article in July 85 issue of Model Railroader but it is sold out. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank You

Derek
